QSC

QSC, founded in 1968, has a rich history in audio technology, beginning with a brief foray into building guitar and bass amps. Unable to break into the instrument amplifier market, QSC Audio Products directed their expertise to manufacturing speaker power amplifiers from 1975 onwards. Various innovations, like a short-circuit protection system (PowerLimit) and the patented AC Coupled Amplifier Circuit, allowed the brand to grow. 2001 saw QSC branch out into one of its most known product lines, loudspeakers. Its speaker line popularity grew rapidly thanks to its high production quality. In 2009, QSC launched their Q-SYS platform, a cloud-based audio, video and control platform that helps to network AV solutions in a streamlined fashion.
